I decided when I was a good bit younger to begin to record where I had gone and when, lest I forget which order I had visited places or whether my visit was before or after significant events. The results are shown here.

I have come up with a couple of rules to decide what constitutes visiting a country, as some of them are a bit iffy, and also to define what counts as a country - something which is tricky in the British Isles. I have displayed each country only the first time I visited and no subsequent times. To include a country I must either have spent at least one night there, or have seen and experienced part of the country after which it could not be argued that I haven't been!

Some countries have different ideas about which other countries exist, and what relation they have to each other, so I have tried to arrange things in an international sense without leaning towards one political inclination or another, as it is not my intent to upset anyone.

Note: I drew all of these flags in that most wondrous and versatile of programs, Paint. It took ages.
