Dallas

Dallas Texas, the "Texas Star", deep in the heart of Texas. Yup, everything here speaks of Texas. Dallas is not a tourist resort, as I gathered when everyone asked me "why did you come all the way from Scotland to go to Dallas?" Hmmm. I went to visit an old school friend of my Dad's, Mike, and stayed with him and his family for a week which was a lot of fun. Dallas has good nightlife, very hot weather and everything is Texas-sized! Yee-haw!

Downtown Dallas. This image is one that appears on those girls' tops with cityscapes on them. In the centre is the Bank of America building, which was the tallest building west of the Mississippi until the Chase Tower in Houston was built.

Here I am trying to ride a big white horse. I was also shown how to rope a steer but I had enough trouble trying to steer my steed for that!
